Current Scholarship Recipients

One of our Missions

To be able to offer scholarships to those in the community interested in learning and applying Scottish and/or Celtic traditions such as, but not limited to, music, dance, highland athletics and the Gaelic language.

Typical fundraising events may include the annual Christmas Walk, Highland Games and Faire, the annual Burns Supper, and Scottish Tea as well as accepting donations.

We are proud to be able to give Amador Co. resident, C. Kirkpatrick a $100 Scholarship to be used towards his competing at the 2025 12U Baseball Tournament in Cooperstown, New York. The hometown of baseball.

When not attending Celtic events with family he is playing ball with the Hard 90 Club.

We love watching children excel in what they love.

Maybe tossing a caber and hammer is in his future?

We were proud to be able to give A. Young a $150 Scholarship to be used towards her competing at the USIR Nationals in Santa Clara.

Miss Young, now 13, has been Highland dancing since she was 5 years old.

We have enjoyed watching her and her sister perform for us over the years at our Scots Candlelight Walks in Volcano and our Burns Suppers.

Way to go! We look forward to continuing to watch your performances and growth!
