Located near the town of Ione in Amador County Lake Amador consists of a 400 acre lake, with 13 1/2 miles of shoreline and the most amazing fishing. The Lockhart Family started developing the resort in 1973. They have expanded from 12 campsites to 150, with showers, flush toilets and a number of other amenities. There are also 73 lakeside full RV hook-ups and a swimming pond with a waterslide.


Rules

Since Lake Amador is a fishing lake and has been developed into one of "the finest fishing resorts in the Western U.S. jet ski's, water skiing and fast boats are not permitted under any circumstance, both from a fishing and safety aspect.

Pets are permitted but they MUST be on a leash and controlled
